Drivers
Training is adapted to each individual’s needs,
skills and goals for driving. Training sessions take place in the specially
equipped vehicle and are matched to the clients skills from neighborhood to
highway. |

| New
driver’s who are not successful in a standard driver’s training course will
benefit from the individualized curriculum we are able to provide. |

Vehicle Evaluation of your vehicle OR
Recommendations for an appropriate vehicle to allow independent transfers,
installation of driving system, operation of vehicle equipment,
transportation of mobility device. |
|
| If
vehicle modifications were necessary, a Vehicle Modification Prescription
is
completed to assist with equipment installation. An equipment inspection is
completed following installation to ensure recommendations were followed and
to make adjustments to fit your needs and comfort. |
|
|
Independence is your ultimate goal. We understand the importance of
achieving this milestone. We also understand the importance of safety on the
road, your confidence in your skills, and confidence in your training in the
use of a new driving system. |
|
| As
needed, we are able to assist you with completion of the Medical Review
Program or appropriate licensure through the Motor Vehicle Division. |
|
| We
work closely with your Physician, Vocational Rehabilitation, Independent
Living Rehab Services and/or Workman’s Compensation by providing all
necessary documentation. |
|
| Once you have
decided to pursue independence in your community, call us to schedule your
driving assessment. Prior to this assessment you will need the following: |

* A doctor’s prescription
is required for the evaluation, assessment and training. |
|
|
|
* A valid driver’s
license or permit is required for all in vehicle assessments and
training.
